Nugget Purses

Little chocolate treat in a sweet little purse...
I saw these adorable little purses on Stampin' Up demonstrator's site yesterday, and couldn't wait to make some.  They are perfect hostess gifts for any event:  SU party, baby shower, wedding shower, birthday party, etc.
I used some discounted DSP (Designer Series Paper) as I knew these were going right out the door with my daughter.  The main thing to keep in mind when you're going through your DSP is that you want 2 coordinating pieces (one for the purse & one for the nugget wrapper).

Directions:
Cut Card stock at 1 1/2" x 4 1/2 "
Cut DSP at 1 1/4" x 4 1/2" (center the DSP over the card stock and adhere with a tape runner)
Score (from the top, meaning over the DSP) at 1 3/16, 2 3/16, 3 1/2, 3 3/4
Use bone folder to set score lines.
Add sticky strip (red tape) to 1/4" wide area between 3 1/2" and 3 3/4" score lines.
Adhere 5" of Grosgrain ribbon to sticky strip (place both ends of ribbon on the red tape= inside of purse).
Fold to purse shape (stand bottom of purse on flat surface to help you get the correct shape) & use a paper-piercing tool to create a hole (through 2 layers) & add a brad.  I also added some flowers with the brad for extra effect.
Wrap the Hershey Nugget with a 1" x 3" piece of DSP; add a piece of sticky strip at the end to secure.
Simple place the nugget inside the purse...no adhesive is needed

*I hope that you will enjoy making some of these yourself.
